Andy Jenkins hates being on camera.

“The thing is, I market with video.  I’ve never wanted to be an actor… I just wanna help people sell more stuff… and I sometimes sell my own.”

To support his belief, he references the New York Times by stating that the fastest growing segment of online advertising is with internet video marketing.

“I use video because it’s more effective than anything I’ve ever tried.  I just don’t use the live in-person on-camera kind (of video),” he giggles, “…if I can help it”.

Andy even admits that he gets so freaked out by the idea of going on camera that he actually used an animated character in his place during one of his client’s high dollar internet video marketing product launches.

“Most people actually avoid using video because they are afraid of it.  They’re afraid of the technology.  They’re intimidated.  And they incorrectly think that it takes too much time or it costs way too much.”

Thankfully, Andy says you don’t need high-tech, high powered software or computer to crank out high ranking internet videos.  You can even turn a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation into a video.

“Bad video from people who are not even marketers are getting ranked, and it’s getting traffic, and it’s getting massive results.”

In his internet video marketing experience he says, “Videos have ranked great in the search engines with far less SEO (search engine optimization) effort than regular web pages.”
