“Alice In Wonderland”

The Story is an extension to the 1865 novel by Charles Lutwidge Dudgson (who wrote under the fictitious name of Lewis Carroll), Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland, and the 1872 sequel Through The Looking Glass. This time fantasy takes place 10 years later when Alice is all grown up. Being 19 her mother and sister had decided to organize a surprise engagement party for her. Not knowing of the plans made for her she attends the event, and as the self-important lord Hamish Ascot proposes to her in front of all the snobby guests she catches a glimpse of the well-known white rabbit (Michael Sheen) holding his pocket watch (Alice is not acquainted with the rabbit or any of the other famous characters for she had forgotten of her past adventures). She follows him as he finally leads her down a rabbit-hole and she falls in and is lead to Wonderland, the place that inhabits all of the long lost characters from the precedent plots: the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry), the Dodo, the Dormouse, Tweeddledee and Tweeddledum and of course- The Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) who tells Alice of the way the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) had taken over the thrown from her sister the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) and that wonderland needs her help in returning the order to place by slaying the terrorizing Queens’ dragon Jabberwock (Christopher Lee). Alice sets to help her friends, and by going through size changing she tries to save Wonderland.
