Exit Polls Look VERY Good For Obama

By  |

The big story of the night, if these numbers hold up, is that Obama may have won a bunch of states that Hillary was counting on with the biggest shocker probably being New Jersey.

The biggest caveat here is that these are very early numbers and shouldn’t be seen as indicative of final poll results. Still, some of these spreads are shocking to say the least.

From Drudge Report, first Obama leaning states…

  • Alabama: Obama 60, Clinton 37…
  • Arizona: Obama 51, Clinton 45…
  • Connecticut: Obama 53, Clinton 45…
  • Delaware: Obama 56, Clinton 42…
  • Georgia: Obama 75, Clinton 26…
  • Illinois: Obama 70, Clinton 30…
  • Massachusetts: Obama 50, Clinton 48…
  • Missouri: Obama 50, Clinton 46…
  • New Jersey: Obama 53, Clinton 47…

    And now Clinton…

  • Arkansas: Clinton 72, Obama 26…
  • California: Clinton 50, Obama 47…
  • New York: Clinton 56, Obama 43…
  • Oklahoma: Clinton 61, Obama 31…
  • Tennessee: Clinton 52, Obama 41…

Also note how wide the margin is in Illinois vs. New York. These are the candidates home states and while Obama would take the lion’s share of delegates from Illinois, Hillary looks like she’ll nearly split the delegates in New York. That is HUGE.

Another big story, while Hillary may still take California by a narrow margin, it will still be seen as tie because of the delegate split.

But again, and I can’t stress this enough, these are VERY early numbers so take them with a grain of salt.

More soon…
