John Edwards Condemned Clinton’s Affair in 1999

By  |

When it rains, it pours…

Edwards had cast himself in his political career as an exemplar of a moral life and a good marriage, and he was a harsh critic of former President Bill Clinton for his Oval Office affair.

“I think this president has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter,” Edwards said in 1999. “It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen.”

Judge not…

As much as I don’t revere the institution of marriage by any means personally, how can you trust someone to uphold an oath to the country if they can’t keep an oath to just one person? Unreal.

Hillary Clinton thinks had the press reported the John Edwards matter earlier she would have carried Iowa, making her the Democratic nominee. Hillary may also think that had the press failed to report the Monica mess, that that might have helped her chances. Adulteries in Washington, DC? Karl Rove is hot in this berg. Monica was hot enough. Lisa Jo Druck, a.k.a. Rielle Hunter; how hot is that? These people could all use more fiber in their diet. Castor oil might help to relieve the cramping and bloating from the chronic constipation associated with life in Washington. However, thanks to the Web we need no longer wait until the sun burns out to learn what the “mainstream press” is loathe to report. That’s the real story: http://theseedsof9-11.com

I knew Edwards was a sleaze ball from the get-go! His two Americas’ banter and his arrogant, self-aggrandizing and cocky, good ol’ southern boy charmer tactics have parlayed him right where he belongs. He always displayed such an air of elitism, while claiming that he was the candidate for the “common” man. Re: $400 hair cuts, for example.
Now people see him for the superficial and lying politician he proved to be!
    “I saw it coming.”
