That’d be rad to experience.

Guns N’ Roses are confirmed for Neil Young’s 26th annual series of Bridge School benefit concerts.

The shows are set for October 20 and October 21 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

Also playing will be Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Jack White, The Flaming Lips, Sarah McLachlan, Foster The People, Lucinda Williams, k.d. Lang, Steve Martin, and others.

For those that don’t know, The Bridge School was co-founded by Young’s wife Pegi. It works to help people with physical and speech impairments through alternate methods of communication, including music therapy.

Each year, Young, who has two handicapped sons, gathers a cross-section of performers to perform acoustically to benefit the school.

Tickets are priced from $35 to $150 and go on sale September 14.

Every time I read something about the Bridge School, it reminds me of this compilation CD I bought in ’89 with a bunch of rad bands (The Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, Bongwater) covering Neil Young tunes.
