The advent of a new Suffocation record is always cause for celebration — whether that means drinking yourself into a bloody, vomitus mess, burning out the engine on the vaporizer, or wildly firing bullets into the blue skies overhead.
I hope you’re locked and loaded.
New York death metal veterans Suffocation released the title for their impending album.
That title is The Pinnacle Of Bedlam, and I like it. The record’s tentatively due out in February or March 2013 through Nuclear Blast Records, according to Blabbermouth and Horns Up Rocks.
The follow-up to 2009’s Blood Oath will also come with a bonus DVD. Little is know at this time what sorts of material the DVD will contain, but I’m sure it’ll be totally worth the watch.
The Pinnacle Of Bedlam will mark Suffocation’s first recording since the departure earlier in the year of drummer Mike Smith. He has since been replaced by Dave Culross, who previously played on the band’s Despise The Sun LP.
