Every year we hear these numbers and they become increasingly hard to believe. How can all of these corporations get away with squirreling away so much money offshore and paying so little in taxes.

Take a look at GE, Bank of America, Wells Fargo…and everybody’s favorite…BP.

    Just a suggestion, but you may want to check BP’s financial statements, and others financial statements for tax year 2012 in their annual reports. BP is showing to have paid close to 25 billion in taxes. I don’t know where you’re getting your numbers but I don’t think their accurate. The federal government generally doesnt give refunds for the whole amount of taxes paid, but refunds are a percentage of taxes paid which represent an overpayment.
