“The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”

Set in a modern day Manhattan, lies the wicked wizard Horvath, who has reprehensible plans of taking over the city of New York with the help of an illusionist, so he can then carry on with the rest of his evil plans. In an attempt to stop him, there is Balthazar Blake, a master sorcerer who feels that for this mission he is going to need some help, and leaves for a trip around the world to find it. In the end he decides upon a regular guy, Dave, who is quite skeptical about his new job as an apprentice but soon enough he realizes that the cause is good enough. After some quick lessons in magic Dave is ready to join Balthazar on the good side in the ultimate battle against evil.
