“The Eclipse”

In the village of Bobh, Country Cork of Ireland lives Michael, a widower raising his two kids by himself who is still in deep mourning for his late wife. She has been dead for two years after surrendering to cancer, and he has recently been hearing peculiar sounds from his house late at night. He can’t be sure whether theses are nightmares or visions of his haunted house. As in every year, the town hosts a literary festival, and Michael volunteers to help. This time he is assigned to be the driver of the attractive writer from London Lena, who just happens to be the author of books that study the supernatural and ghosts. As they get friendly Michael feels free to tell Lena about his troubling experiences. While Michael finally finds someone who can understand him, Lena is preoccupied with a former lover attending the festival with whom she had a short affair while he was still married. The festival proceeds and the dynamics between the three become more and more flammable, pulling them into an inevitable end.
