The Texas Trade Up Appliances Rebate Program Has Started Today
A program called Texas Trade Up Appliances Rebate has officially opened today, and it means that a 23$ million rebate money is available now in Texas appliance, offered on a list of appliances including: freezers, dishwashers, heat pumps etc.
The program which is sponsored by the State Energy Conservation Office, is offered to whom ever wants to upgrade their home appliances, and the first step is to sign up today at the Texas Powerful Smart website, or by calling (877) 780-3039. This is a great opportunity to save money and to replace an old appliance with an energy saving one. The conditions are that appliances must be purchased from a Texas retail location or contractor (online purchases do not qualify), the old appliance must belong to one of the eligible categories with a new “Energy Star” or “Cee” qualified, and obviously you have to be from Texas and Montgomery County.
The date had actually been moved from Monday the 5th to Wednesday the 7th in order to accommodate Texan who have been traveling over the Easter holiday. The actual window of purchasing refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers and room air conditioners will run from April 16 though April 25, while the window for central air conditioners, hot water heaters and air-source heat pumps will be available up to 60 days after April 6.
