Twitter Hacked by Iranian Cyber Army
A Radical group naming itself the Iranian Cyber Army has hacked Twitter and an Iranian opponent internet site, substituting it with anti-American content.
Hits to the social networking site were redirected for almost 2 hours on Thursday night.
The opponent site mowjcamp.org continued interrupted on Friday.
The opponent in Iran have applied the sites to publicize objections and accuse the authorities of manipulating elections in June.
“This site has been hacked by the Iranian Cyber Army,” the message read.
The message, composed in confused English, said the cyber-terrorists had turned the tables on the United States, who they criticize for sanctions on Iran.
“USA think they controlling and managing internet by their access, but they don’t, we control and manage internet by our power,” the message continued.
It concluded on a apparently civilised note, telling visitants to “take care”, and the hackers added a winking emoticon.
The hackers left an email address, but could not be reached for comment.
