Since Mentioned On Glee – Everybody Is Searching For Florence Henderson
The reference of Florence Henderson on the last Glee episode made her one of the most searched keywords on the web.
The 15th episode of Glee caused a hype not just because of Florence Henderon but also due to the fact that it was a tribute to the biggest diva ever- Madonna. 14 of her songs were covered by the Glee cast, as the episode’s name was ‘Madonna Power’.
The hype around Florence Henderson started when a joke was made about Sue’s hair was referenced to Henderson, who’s hair became a her trademark when she starred as Carol Brady in the hot 70’s show ‘The Brady Bunch’. The TV sitcom originally aired on September 26, 1969, until March 8, 1974. The premise of the plot was the marrying of a couple, both for the second time, and the blended family they raise together as Mark Brady has three sons and Carol Martin has three daughters from previous marriages. Carol and her daughters took on the Brady surname and that’s how they all became the ‘Brady Bunch’.
Although Carol Brady was the role she was best known for, Florence also co-hosted the daily talk show “Living Live” with Meshach Taylor from ‘Designing Women’, and made guest appearances on different shows.
