Jedward to star in a new Baywatch movie with David Hasselhoff

The X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes have been aligned to star in a Modern Baywatch film, according to the actor David Hasselhoff.

Hasselhoff, 57, who starred in the hit American series, said he was a lover of the Irish twins, called ‘Jedward’.

The Baywatch actor stated he would line the 18 year old twins for a role in a future movie remaking of the favorite 90s series.

He said: “I loved Jedward. I’d definitely give them a starring role.

“Can you imagine them running around the beach and saving people in the sea? They’d be hilarious,â€ he told The Sun.

Hasselhoff, who’s forecast that the brothers will be really prosperous in America, said they could also sing a new version of the theme song with him.

He said: “It would be so much fun. Jedward and The Hoff teaming up, could it get any better? I bet we could get a No1.”

According to reports, the eighteen year olds have even been approached by the Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson to try out for his new Hobbit films.

The Hobbit, founded on the JRR Tolkein book, is expected to be released in 2011 and shooting will begin in the summer.

The twins may be extended the roles of twins Fili and Kili – part of a band of dwarves who accompany wizard Gandalf and hobbit Bilbo Baggins on a mission to recover treasure from a dragon.
