This Week’s Elimination On Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With The Stars had its eighth round yesterday, May 11, and it was the first time that the audience agreed with the judges’ comments on the contestants. It was a close run between the couples Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke and Niecy Nash and her partner Louis Van Amstel, who were fighting over the chance of staying. While both the couples were in the bottom two, Nash and Van Amstel were the ones to go home after gaining only 43 points out of 60.

Niecy Nash is best known for her role as Deputy Raineesha Williams and T.T on the Reno 911 television show, which was broadcasted on comedy Central. Apart from that she is the voice of Mrs. Boots on Slacker Cats, the ABC family animated series; the host of Clean House; starred as Rhonda in the sitcom Do Not Disturb that went off the air very quickly and appeared in the movie The Cleaner with Lucy Liu and Cedric the entertainer.

This week’s elimination spared the couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Erin Andrews, and they are safe for now thanks to the great show they gave last night. The next phase is winning the mirror ball trophy in the Semi Finals.
