Best iPhone Apps: Keep In Contact With The eBuddy Application

If you use any form of instant messaging client on a regular basis then you are probably familiar with eBuddy. Previously, you could use eBuddy on your PC or Mac simply by going to eBuddy.com, here you could sign into a variety of different instant messaging accounts including Gtalk, Windows Live and Yahoo. Now, the eBuddy concept has made its move to the iPhone with this new eBuddy app.

The eBuddy app is designed very much like the eBuddy website and if you have used that in the past, then the design will probably appear quite familiar to you. When you fist launch the application on your iPhone, you will be presented with a login screen. If you do not already have an eBuddy account, then you will need to make one before you go any further, but don’t worry, this is both a free and quick process.

Once you have created your eBuddy account, simply login to your account on the app with your username and password. Once you have logged in, you will need to configure different account. The app allows you to add a variety of different instant messaging account, all to one eBuddy account. For example, you can add your Windows Live account, yahoo account and Gtalk account all to one eBuddy account. This allows you to talk to your contacts on all three of these accounts on your eBuddy app as it combines all your contacts into one contacts list.

Overall, this is a great app if you need to keep in contact with your friends/family whilst you are on the move. The app is free from the iTunes app store but if you think the app is good, then you can always purchase eBuddy Pro for a few dollars which has many other features.
