Susan Boyle I Dreamed a Dream 4 Weeks at Number One

For the 4th calendar week, Scots vocalist Susan Boyle, the break away star of the TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent has kept up the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Fired by energetic holiday gross sales, Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream is holding back soul vocalist Alicia Keys’s The Element of Freedom from the top spot and may edge out Mary J. Blige’s new release Stronger WithEach Tear.

It’s safe to say that Boyle isn’t a fluke. Her debut album has brought in multi-platinum status, closing in on three million sold and competing with Taylor Swift’s Fearless for the best-selling release of the year.
