A new horror-action movie from the director Scott Stewarts (What We Talk About When We Talk About Love ) and scriptwriter Peter Schink (Gotham Cafe) .

The film tells of the supernatural possibility of God fed up and losing faith in the human race and deciding to bring it to an end. He sends a legion of angels to bring the apocalypse, and that’s when a group of strangers in a small desert diner find themselves first in line of defense trying to save humanity from this end. Paul Bettany (A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code) stars as Michael, an archangel who decides to rebel against God, which in his opinion is making a mistake. Out of his own will he falls down to Earth in order to help this group while he is their only spiritual path. What Michael knows and (somehow) God doesn’t, is that the waitress in the diner is carrying the Messiah inside her…

It will be interesting to see who wins in the battle of heavenly angel mace and metal wings versus machineguns.

Also starring: Dennis Quaid (Far From Heaven), Charles S. Dutton (Honeydripper), Tyrese Gibson (Transformers), Lucas Black (The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift) , Adrianne Palicki, Doug Jones, Willa Holland, and Kate Walsh (Bewitched).
