Syria Refugee’s head to Turkey

A growing amount of Syrians have started trying to escape from the country by heading to the Turkish border. The reason for the escaping of the countries citizens is the feared government attack on the northern town of Jisr al-Shughour.

It is thought that there have been around 1,000 Syrians cross the border over the last day according to a spokesperson in Turkey. This means that the total number of Syrian refugees in Turkey has increased to around 1,600. Both the pope and the United Nations have urged Syria not to attack its own people.

The situation comes after the UK and France actually proposed a UN resolution to the conflict that condemned Syria’s suppression of protests. Although the draft currently has not authorised such action, it is unclear as of yet whether it will be put to a vote.

According to human rights experts, there have actually been more than 1,000 people killed since the beginning of the protests in February. The protests in the country are against the rule of President basher al-assad who seems to be stopping at nothing to ensure that he keeps control of the country.

Breaking News: Turkey Recalls Its Ambassador To Israel Following Gaza Flotilla Attack

Turkey recalls its ambassador to Israel, following The IDF attack on the Gaza flotilla.

Another report, not yet confirmed, states that turkey canceled a scheduled visit of the Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defence Forces , Major General Gabi Ashkenazy. At noon today, turkey also announced its cancelling three scheduled army drills with the Israeli army.

Following the growing tensions between the two countries, Israel warned its citizens from visiting Turkey, and urged Israelis that are currently in Turkey to stay in Their hotels until they leave the country.

Has Noah’s Ark Been Found In Turkey?

After finding the alleged pieces of the iconic religious boat, a group of evangelists Turkish and Chinese are claiming to have found Noah’s Ark. The group had found a structure made of wood, and they say it’s the ship that inhabited Noah, his family and animals during the biblical flood 4,800 years ago. Carbon dating of the wood found is also 4,800 years old, and that’s what makes them so sure.

The claim has been buzzing the Internet all over the world, but the discoverers, a group of 15 members that go by the name of Noah’s Ark Ministries International, say they are sure by only 99.9% about their findings.

The story goes back to the Book of Genesis, when God warns Noah he is about to send a great flood to destroy the earth and everything living on it, as a punishment for man’s evil and corruptness. Noah is the only one who gets a head up for he is the only righteous man in the whole of his generation. He is ordered to build a large boat where his family and a representation of the world’s animals will be safe. And so God brings the flood and apart for fish, the inhabitants of the ark are the only survivors. The belief is that the top of Mount Ararat, in today’s Turkey, is the place where the ark finally rested
